Often used as a thickener in many foods, and is also used in cakes, cookies and other baked goods. Arrowroot starch is great for gluten free baking. Its an excellent gluten-free substitute for other starches and flours when used as a thickening agent. Arrowroot powder is neutral tasting and freezes well.
